AHAD Minutes February 2, 2006
February 2, 2006
The meeting was called to order by President Jackie Banning with 4 members present.
OLD BUSINESS:
The Social evening held on Saturday, January 28 was a huge success. Resi Wolfe, Mrs. Mootz and Lori Hudson did an outstanding job with the food. Jody Gray and Ruth Ann Gray (GREAT mac and cheese Ruth Ann) did a fantastic job in setting up the Redden Lodge. The Longaberger baskets added a nice touch. Lots of door prizes were handed out. It was a great evening with lots of members and guests mingling and socializing.
NEW BUSINESS:
The Delaware Horse Expo to be held on March 25 at the Delaware State Fairgrounds was discussed. AHAD had a booth set up last year an received allot of positive feedback from attendees. Jen Wilson offered to help man the booth this year. AHAD needs other members to help with this. Please volunteer. It is fun!
The club voted to renew the membership to the Delaware Equine Council. The membership fee is due by February 15.
The club also voted that all members in attendance at the February 2 meeting receive an all expenses paid trip, (courtesy of AHAD) to the Scottsdale Arabian Show. See what you miss when you don't attend meetings!
Next meeting: March 2, 2006 7:00p.m. at the Redden Educational Center, Georgetown Please bring a snack to share, drinks will be provided.
